So let go and trust because YOU WILL BE FINE!

But I just caught up with the Bruce Jenner story as it is trending on the Internet.
I know many people are not and that is totally cool, but I’m a fan of the Kardashians.
While most people judge them and throw stones…I’m fascinated by how they live and what they do.
Now before you comment on this negatively…and say shit like “they did it for money”, “it was all fake”, or whatever else…
What if they did do it for money? Isn’t that what people do things for to be able to live in this world? And how smart is that to makes gads of money with your entire family?
What if it was all fake? Isn’t that how the majority of people navigate in this world? Covering up WHO THEY REALLY ARE because they are so deeply afraid they won’t be accepted and loved?
I say all that to say this…
There is a definite reason the Kardashians have been on air for 10 years.
And for as many people say they don’t watch them…someone sure the fuck does with that track record.
In my humble opinion…it took a wholelotta courage for what Bruce Jenner just did and I applaud him.
Because while most people will spend their entire lives living in the shadows of who they really are…Bruce Jenner is living his TRUTH. And has unlocked a lot of self-imposed prison cells with that interview.
If that pisses you off…look in the mirror and ask yourself why.
Because the fact of the matter is… YOU will find your TRUTH buried there.
From one Being to another…
Bruce Jenner… Thank you for being the World Class Champion you are.
Unfortunately she became a victim of the medical profession because of her own fear.
Long story short, it is a shame she is no longer with us for the simple fact that there are so many alternatives and solutions available if you just search.
I just ran across the following “…shocking, tell-all report that exposes the scam of today’s breast cancer industry, revealing how conventional breast cancer detection and treatment programs are actually designed to ensnare women into a very harmful (but highly lucrative) system of toxic treatments that will only cause permanent damage to her health.”
At some time in your life, you have undoubtedly had to deal with something that was completely out of your control.
Whether it was some type of accident, financial crisis or any other struggle. Things like this can cause stress and frustration, which have a negative effect on your health plus your outlook on life itself.
Learning how to cope with things you can’t control will help do away with stress and keep you in good spirits.
“God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.”
The words of this prayer illustrate the solution to a problem that bothers all of us.
Once you’ve come to terms with what you can (yourself) and can’t control, you can begin to find peace.
Focus On What You Can Control
Worrying about people, places or situations you can’t control can cause a whole list of stress-related health issues. Not to mention, worry is a total waste of your imagination.
If you need to feel more in control of your life, focus on those things that you can control.
You are in control of who you hang out with and what you let into your life.
Be in the NOW
When you fully accept the present moment — struggles fade away.
And while I get that life isn’t always a bowl of cherries — how you cope during the struggles can make you stronger or break you.
When you purposely feel gratitude for the good moments within each day, you will start to see your struggles as a path to a new beginning.
One of the most stressful situations is coping with a financial crisis. Unexpected job loss can be a quite a blow.
My family experienced that back in 2005. It was really horrible but could have been a lot worse.
After the initial blow — we started focusing on what we did have, which was our health.
And that simple task of refocusing shifted the whole ugly situation for us.
By accepting that you can’t change some things, you’ll become more powerful in changing the things that you do have control over.
Remember — with that — you’ll find peace, joy, and the passion to persevere through all struggles. Plus you become a better version of yourself for going through the lesson.
Everyone has crap from their past they aren’t proud of. The good news is — You can learn to let go of it!
Maybe you keep replaying an event in your mind and wonder what if you had done it differently.
The reality is, that point in time is over and replaying it isn’t doing you any good — at all!
So rather than replay it — release it and then refocus on right now. Because today is all that matters.
There are many ways you can use to help you leave the past behind. It’s good to try a few until you find the one that’s right for you.
Release Your Negative Thoughts
Thinking negatively about yourself or replaying not-so-good past events are not productive.
We have all made mistakes and it is how you look at them which makes the difference.
When you can see them as learning experiences that brought you to where you are today, your outlook shifts.
Take what you have learned and put it to good use. Yet when you find yourself thinking negatively, which we all can slip into, do something to shift your focus to the present.
Here are a few ways to help you with that:
* Go out and exercise to raise your endorphin level
* Help someone else
* Meditate, pray or visualize
* Use affirmations to recognize the positives you already have in your life
Thoughts have power. Use them to work for you.
Find the good in a situation because when you look at things in a positive light, more positive energy and experiences to come your way.
Maybe something happened that you didn’t like, but what did you learn from it?
What good came from it?
Most people forget to look for the good that comes in all experiences.
So don’t be like most people because if you look for it, there is always good to see. It just takes a little practice and priority to see the good in the things you’re doing today.
And as a side note, you aren’t required to forget about the past — simply put, living in memories isn’t necessary. Live in the present because it is much easier to see where you’re going that way!
If you need to make corrections on your journey, make them.
Just avoid going backward because moving forward, should be your focus.
If negative thoughts of the past appear, gently wipe them away by focusing on today.
You know what’s really important, even if your thoughts sometimes try to tell you otherwise.
By focusing on what matters to you in the here-and-now, and seeing how you can extend that into your fabulous future, it becomes easier to shed the conflict that comes from spending too much time in the past.
It’s not possible to change your past, but it is possible to live for today.
And besides — why live with regret when there’s joy to be found?
Life is short — focus your energies on what you can do to make things better for yourself and the world around you.
You’ll find that you have more happiness and that you also bring more happiness to others.
2015 is so close I can almost taste it, can you?
I don’t know about you but 2015 for me is going to be a game changer.
Quick story… one year ago I was on a call with the Founder of the S.W.A.T. Institute, Crystal Andrus Morissette.
On that call she was discussing the book, “Think & Grow Rich”, by Napoleon Hill.
Particularly the chapter on Desire — The Starting Point of All Achievement.
It inspired me so much that I did two things…

2. I did the six definite, practical steps in the chapter.
My point in sharing this?
I truly believe that doing the six definite, practical steps was a game changer for
me this year.
So much so that I am going to be doing them again, ONLY BETTER and MORE SUCCINCT, for 2015 because I have definitely learned that whatever I ask of
life — it will pay me.
So my questions to you are…
What are you going to ask of life in 2015?
Do you think you’re ready to have it?
Do you think you’re willing?
Do you think you deserve it?
Because at the end of the day…It ALL comes down to YOU and what YOU BELIEVE.
Here’s to a ROCKIN’ 2015 and remember — it is yours for the taking!
Life was an uphill battle but I thought living like that was normal because I had done it ever since I could remember.
Without going into all the details, I will go back to the day my light bulb came back on.
It was the end of July 2011, I was on the phone with a colleague and I distinctly remember saying something that would change the course of my life.
I mumbled the words, “I think I might be in the wrong business because I do not like people.”
Almost immediately after I thought to myself, “I don’t like people, who said that?”
It was at that moment I realized it wasn’t the real me who mumbled those words. It was the other me. The only problem; who was that other me and more importantly, where the hell was the REAL ME? I mean I knew she existed because once in a while I could hear her faint voice buried beneath my life’s rubble.
Fast forward to January 2012, a friend pointed me to the work of Crystal Andrus. I had never heard of Crystal before but I was so tired of the battle, I was open to anyone or anything that could help me because at that point I was exhausted.
Not only I was overweight due to excess eating and drinking but also, from the outside my marriage looked normal but it was shaky at best, I was working in a profession that I no longer loved and was I was sick of pretending that everything was okay because inside I knew it wasn’t.
So I submerged myself in Crystal’s work because for the first time in my life I understood why there were different versions of me. I was introduced to the concept of the Emotional Age during her 12 Week Total Transformation Telecourse.
So many things about my life were becoming clear. No wonder it had been an uphill battle. My brilliant mind hid the real me away in the “warrior”, the “tomboy”, the “martyr mother”, the “domineering matriarch”, “superwoman” and many more of The Emotional Edge archetypes during and after the years of growing up in a home with severe emotional abuse.
Of course there are many twists and turns to my story because uncovering the real me is a process but at least the uphill battle is over. I’ve learned to embrace ALL the other parts of me because they helped make me feel safe when my life was a war.
In closing, I will share that I no longer eat or drink excessively, my marriage is on the mend, I am living with purpose and passion plus the facade has faded away. The woman who I am, the real me, is revealing herself more and more to me every day. (See my picture)
